The graph provides data on how to change the domestic model to entry to modern technology in households throughout many terms in the UK between 1996 and 2003.
Overall, it can be seen that the adjust of different technical equipment in households has an upturn over 8 years.
As can be seen in the graph, the CD player reached its peak before slightly increasing, from about 60% to 82%, between 1996/97 and 2003/03. Meanwhile, Internet access reached the lowest level of in 1998/99, about 10% and then this figure increased considerably, around 50% in 2002/03.
The next 8 years, the home computer and the mobile phone had an upturn nearly similarly. However, during the period from 1998/88 to 2000/01, there was a dramatic rise in mobile phone and this figure was higher than the home computer, around 45% and 38% respectively.
In conclusion, It could be seen that the domestic of electronic devices in the family will experience steady growth in the future.
