The graph presents UN’s population situation in 2000 and estimates thriving population of these countries in the future.

Generally, the population of both nations tend to increase. However, Indian inhabitants steadily have an upward trend, particularly, there were 1,000 billion people in 2000, it is expected a steady growth by 1,600 billion people in 2050 - the highest figure throughout various years. While Chinese population in the year 2000 were reported 1,250 billion, and projections will be approximately 1,400 after 50 years periods for the population of this country.

Noticeably, Indian and Chinese population will have the same population of 1,450 billion people in the year 2030. Since 2030, Indian and Chinese citizens will be predicted to turn into 2 opposite dicrections. It can be seen that Indian population growth still has risen sharply. Nevertheless, the number of people in China will decline slightly.

In summary, Indian population growth is higher in number than in China from the selected years from 2000 to 2050.
