The graph demonstrates how many people in two different countries from 2000 to 2020 and with projected values till 2050.
Overall, it is clear that the population of India witnesses an upward trend, while the fluctuation is revelaed in China's inhabitants throughout the period given. Although India initially has lower people, it has outraced China since 2030 as the forecast stastistics.
To begin with, there were about 1.3 billion humans living in China in 2000, being higher than that in India by approximately 0.3 billion. Then, the figure for China rose gradually to 1.35 billion in 2010 and continued to remain this positive change in the following 20 years, standing at around 1.45 unit in 2030. Surprisly, a contrary pattern will be seen between 2030 and 2050; Therefore, after reaching a peak , China's population will slightly decrease to 1.4 billion at the end of the period.
Focusing on the number of people in India , it began at exactly 1 billion people and steadily grew during all of the succeeding period. As a result, the year 2030 will mark the intersection of two lines in the graph so 1.45 billion dwellers will be seen in both nations at this point. However, India's population will keep its growth momentum to surpass China as the estimated number that will be above 1.5 biliion and 1.6 billion in 2040 and in 2050 respectively.
