The line graph depict the percentage of the population ,who were in the 65 and the above age group over 80 years ,starting from the 1940 to 2020 ,and shows a future projection of next 20 years in the three different nations.
overall it can be seen that the proportion of the people ,who aged 65 and more rose from 1940 to present ,and this figure are expected to rise significantly even more over the next 20 years in all three countries.
Looking at the line chart ,it clear that the percentage of the USA population ,who were in the 65 and over age group grew from the 10% in 1940 to 15% in 2020. Although, this figure will be increased to 23% in 2040, similarly, the proportion of the Sweden people who aged 65 and over stood at 7% in the beginning of the period ,This proportion increased dramatically and reached 19% to in 2020,however, this figure will grow even more and will reach 25% in 2040.
Moving on to the remaining data set ,it can clearly be seen that 5% of Japan population aged 65 and more in 1940. This figure climbed to 7% in 2020 ,which was the lowest population among all three countries .This figure proportion will rise up to 20% over the next 20 years and will become a highest in all three Nations
