The given bar chart illustrates the percentage of environmentally-friendly energy of the total supply over a 7-year period starting from 2000.
Overall, it can be seen that in both 3 examined years while Norway was the leading country regarding consuming renewable resources, the opposite was true for Australia.
According to the chart, increasing trends were recorded in the proportion of reused energy in both Norway and Germany. In 2000, nearly three-fifths of the total energy consumption in Norway stemmed from green one, which was 6 times that of Germany. These figures gradually rose at 65% for the former and 15% for the latter after 4 years. At the end of the period, the percentages of green resources utilized reached a peak of nearly 80% and 18%, respectively.
In terms of Iceland and Australia, the consumption of environmentally-friendly sources of Australia fluctuated around 10% during a period of 7 years, which were also the lowest figure recorded among 4 nations. Having the same pattern, Iceland experienced growth from 50% to 58% in the first term before a slight decrease to 55% at the end of the period.
