Overall, it is clear that prices increased for four food product groups significantly. Only a rise in price of fresh fruits and vegetables is remarkably higher than the others.
In 1979, all the lines on the graph have the same figure in starting. There was a steady increasing in prices of sugar and sweets, carbonates drinks and consumer-price index between 1979 and 2009. Price of carbonated drinks increased to over 150, Which is the lowest price in this graph. Besides, price of sugar and sweets rose to 200. Although the prices of carbonated drinks and sugar and sweets were going up substantially, they were consistently below the consumer-price index in 2009.
There is a quickly growth in prices of fresh fruits and vegetables, particular in 2009. It rose to over 325 and were the highest change in four group.
