The line graph gives information about the amount of money obtained from three different types of books during the period from 2002 and 2006 in one country.
Overall, while the sales of Children’s books and Educations’ books showed general upward trends, there was a reverse pattern in the figure for Adult’s fiction. It is also clear that Children’s books experienced a dramatic change over the given period.
Starting at around 33 million dollars, the turnover of Children’s books increased significantly to reach its peak of over 55 million dollars in 2006.
In comparison, Adult’s fiction earned 45 million dollars in the first year which was much higher than that of Education’s ones, at 25 million dollars. Afterwards, the figure for Adult’s fiction witnessed noticeable fluctuations until 2004 before decreasing remarkably to only 30 million dollars in the final year. At the same time, Education’s books saw a marked rise in its sales, to roughly 32 million in 2003 and then fell back to the figure for the first year in the following two years. Finally, the sales of this type of book grew suddenly by nearly 8 million dollars at the end of the period.
