The graph below shows the way people of Somecountry invested their money during the years 2001-2006.

The bar graph illustrates the proportion of money that people in some countries invested in two items: Bonds and Stocks over the five years period.

It can be seen from the graph, Stocks investment has the advantage over Bonds in the period from 2001 to 2006. In 2001, Stocks was invested 210 billions of dollars while bonds just hold the quite low quantity, namely 100 billions of dollars. Nevertheless, this amount of Bonds had advanced during the next years. As the graph shows, in 2003, the amount of currency in terms of Bonds increased gradually, at 157 billions. Moreover, it still raised to 188 billions up to 2006.

As is shown by the graph, Stocks investment occupies the substantial quantity from 2001 to 2006. In 2003, the quantity of Stocks was 227 billions dollars, and this number was continuing to progress over the period 2004 to 2005 with 289 billions and 297 billions respectively. Considerably, this investment reached the remarkable amount in 2006, at 311 billions of dollars.

In conclusion, Bonds is the investment item that people preferred to expend in some countries.
