The graph distinguishes the number of Britain people employed in three different groups of the economy from 2000-2010.
Overall, the highest figure during the 10 years was the public sector, while the private sector decreased significantly.
Looking closely into the graph, in terms of the private sector, about less than 50% was hired in the private sector with the most popular hiring rate during the initial year. However, the percentage dropped dramatically to 20%. Likewise, about 37% worked in the public sector in 2000 and that number increased to just above 50%, with some fluctuations between the years. Having said that, the public sector stood the greatest number of people employed by 2010.
Lastly, not many Britain people were self-employed, with just around 18% during 2000, but that figure went up considerably to the percent of 30 in 10 years of period. In fact, although self-employed was the least favorable job by the Britain people in 2000, they managed to outnumber the private sector during 2007-2008
