The line graph gives information about the changes in the number of people, who suffered from X disease, in someland over a 35-year period from 1960 to 1995.

Overall, for 15 years from 1960 a fivefold increase was seen in the number of cases of the disease.this figure constant for 5 years, before dropping to zero in the late 80s.

At the beginning of the period, only 100 people contracted X disease. this number remained steady for 5 years, before reaching a peak of 500 cases in 1975.

The number of affected people, which remained stable at 500 cases for 5 years, declined for 10 years, falling to zero in 1990. Between 1990 and 1995 any case was not reported in this area.

Flighting against X disease was successful, with the number of cases of this disease dropping to zero by 1995. this number stood at the same level (zero) until the end of the period.
