The graph shows Japanese average monthly salary Yen from 1953 to 1983 and the prices of black and white television and color television during the same period

Given is the line graph delineating the amount of monthly salary of each person in Japan as well as the prices of black and white television and color television over a 30-year period, commencing from 1953.
Perceptibly, both kinds of televisions’ prices witnessed a drastic slump while the converse was true for the salary of Japanese. Moreover, despite the late existence, the price of color TV prevailed over that of black and white TV.
Evidently, the figure of color TV reached its zenith with 110 thousand Yen at the beginning of the period. Surprisingly, when 1960 heralded a plummet to 40 thousand Yen, this figure continuously declined to 20 thousand Yen in 1983. Starting in 1960, the price of color TV became the highest data at this time with 100 thousand Yen. However, it experienced a remarkable plunge in the ensuing years, and it registered at over 49 thousand Yen in 1983.
When it comes to the salary of Japanese people, it began at 19 thousand Yen. Subsequently, it showed a moderate growth to 30 thousand Yen in 1973. This data proliferated shortly afterward, with 68 thousand Yen at the end of the survey.
