The line graph illustrates some information about the proportion of the young people who eat a vegetable diet in the United Kingdom and how this rate changed during the period from 1960 to 2020.
Overall, it is clear that there was a significant fluctuation in the percentage of young vegetarian over the 60-year period, but its trend was in a term of increase general.
It can be seen from the line graph that there weren’t people who ate vegetable diet in 1960, the percentage of vegetarians increased sharply to reach a peak of almost 15% in 1980. By contrast, 10 years later, the ratio of united kingdom adolescent eating vegetable diet fell rapidly to approximately 6% in 1990.
In the period 1990-2000, there was a steady vary in the figure for united kingdom youth who had vegetable diet. In the following decade, this percentage increased gradually to about 10% in 2010 and continued to remained above 10% in the last decade of the period.
