Essay topics:

The graph shows Underground Station passenger numbers in London.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

You should write at least 150 words.

This line graph depicts the number of people using underground means of transportation in a day from 6:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. in London.

Overall, it is evident from the graph that a large number of passengers opt for underground transportation in the morning and in the evening and a very few at the opening and closing times of the underground station.

As shown in the graph, 100 passengers use the underground station at 6'o clock in the morning and this number subsequently rises to reach its apex at 8'o clock in the morning with 400 passengers traveling. After that, the number drops swiftly to nearly 180 passengers by 10:00 a.m.

The graph plateaus from 12:00 hours to 14:00 hours followed by a massive decline in the number to reach its nadir with less than 100 passengers traveling at 16:00 hours. It then increases substantially to nearly 380 people boarding the underground station at 18:00 hours. Furthermore, a plunge in the number is observed at 20:00 hours with approximately 125 people using the underground station. Finally, it fluctuates a bit and settles at nearly 150 by the end of the day at 22:00 hours.
