The graphs above give information about computer ownership as a percentage of the population between 2002 and 2010, and by level of education for the years 2002 and 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at least 150 words.

The bar graph illustrates the percentage of the population who owns a computer and its level of education between the year of 2002 and 2010. It is clearly shown that 2010 has the highest amount of computer ownership.

Throughout the years, the amount of people who own computers gradually increases, with slightly below 60 percent of the population in 2002 and accelerates steadily to around 70 percent, with lest amount of computer ownership in 2002 and highest in 2010.

By observing the graph, it is seen that in whichever level of education, the population in 2010 have always had a higher amount of computer owners. However, the percentage of computer owners who have no high school diplomas in 2002 has quite a big gap with the percentage in 2010 with a 35 percent difference. The gap slowly decreases throughout the different levels of education in which Bachelor degrees and people with postgraduate qualifications have the least amount of percentage gap.
