The graphs below show the age structure of a European country from 1901 to 1981 and a prediction for 2021.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The graph compares the age group in a country in Europe every 40 years, from 1901 to 1981, and the estimation in 2021.

In 80 years, from 1901 to 1981, there was an enormous increase in the number of people, from 38.225.000 to 67.180.000 and this upward trend kept continuing to 2021, the population is predicted to almost doubled, compared to 1901.

In 1901 and 1941, the population structure were exactly the same, the number of people in 0-65 was dominant with, 95%. The number of people in the age group of over 85 took up only 1 % and the rest belonged to group 65-85.

However, in the next 40 years, this country witnessed a sharp rise in the percentage of the elderly. there was a fourfold increase in the over 85 age group and the percentage of the number of elderly in 65-85 was added 9%. The rate of people in the two older groups is expected to rise by 2% each in 2021

In conclusion, the age range in this European country changed not only in the population number but also in age.
