The pie charts demonstrate the percentage of university students’ cost in different items in 3 typical countries in 2003.
As we can seen, food and accommodation constitute the biggest proportion of the total. More precisely, accommodation dominate the first place in the courtry A, standing in the marked contrast with food(45% versus 22%), while similar pattern can be seen in country B. Adversely, food comprised largest proportion of money unniversity students spent a year, exceeding accommodation by 4%.
Moreover, the remainder was divided among leisure, books and others. To be more specific, leisure and food share the same proportion of total in country A, where the books was the least. Additionally, university students in country A cost more money on leisure, with only 18% of other two items collectively, whereas books constituted 21% of the total, clearly outnumbering the other two parts.
Overall, university students spended more on food and accommodation in all three countries.
