The given pie charts illustrate the weekly expenditures of Americans and British people in 2010.
Looking at the graph, it is immediately conspicuous that the amount of money spent on fundamental needs was outstandingly high. On the other hand, weekly DVDs-related payments had the least involvement.
In England, the highest expense was on accommodation, 30%. Next, The proportion of money spent on food was 12% lower than that of Rent. Meanwhile, Spending on outdoor activities and transportations shared the same proportion, which both made up 15% of the budget of British residents. Lastly, DVDs and Books accounted for 10% and 12%, respectively.
Turning to America, Spending on fundamental needs, which are accommodation and food, was the highest. Specifically, the weekly rental payments of Americans accounted for 20%. Next, the cost of food supplies was 5% higher than that of Rent. Meanwhile, Transporting, outdoor and book-related expenditures were the same, which all made up 15% of the budget of American residents. Besides, DVDs made up for the lowest expense, 10%.
