The second most cause is the course offered, is 35%. A smaller percentage of students preferred this university because of the opportunity to study abroad as part of the course, the facilities on campus, related to industry, and reputation of teaching staff are 9%, 12%, 4%, and 2% respectively.

Turning to the data set for over the 25-year group, it is evident that close to home is also the peak reason as like the 18-24 age group, is 39%. Course offered is the next top cause, is 24%. 20% of students also preferred the dorrifod university because of related to the industry. Most of the students in this group do not care about campus facilities. Only 2% of students are chosen for this reason.

Overall, it can be seen that close to home is the peak reason for both age groups to choose the University of Dorrifod whereas other reasons are varied based on the students' preference for opting to study.
