Essay topics:

The graphs below show the enrolments of overseas students and local students in Australian universities over a ten year period.

The given line charts give facts and figures on the enrolments of pupils compartmentalised into two categories: overseas students and local one. The graphs show the outcome of the survey taken in Australian universities for a period of ten years, initiating in 2001 and culminating in 2010.

In general, a glance at the graphs reveal that notwithstanding some variations available, the tendency of students studying aboard together with that trend of local students experiences an upswing over ten-year timeline

To start from scratch, as it can be seen from the blow-by-blow account of the numerical data shown in the first graph, the total overseas pupils enrolled in universities was in the vicinity of 20000 students in 2001. Surprisingly, with the undiminished rise year after year, in 2010 this total number worked out to 80000 students. What's more, have a look at the commencing number from 2001 to 2008, there was a fractional upturn up to 15000 students.

On the flip side, one particularly attention-grabbing fact highlighted in the second chart is that from 2001 to 2007, the tendency of the enrolments of local students was on an upward trajectory. However, it was not until the following year that this upward trend broke off and after that, this number remained relatively static at around 600000 students. Additionally, when it comes to taking the commencing part into consideration, from 2001 to 2002, this trend experienced a rise up to approximately 50000 students. After that, this number decreased and it wouldn't take long after 2006 that this trend recovered.
