The bar charts compare the rise of salaries in G7 countries within two periods(2000-2007 and 2008-2012).
Overall, it can be seen from the graph that in the UK, US and Italy the wages grew in the first period, whereas over the last period there was a decline. However, France and Germany had converse trends over these two periods. Canada faced stable rates in both years.
Numerically speaking, United Kingdom's citizens had the highest soar at just over 5 per cent. From 2000 to 2007 only in 2005 the wages remained at the same level, nevertheless in other years there was an increase, ranging from 1% to 5%. In the United states the figures were very similar to the UK's figures, and then following by a plummet in the salaries of British people from 2008 to 2012 at nearly 2%. But in Unites states the figures had a steady trend. The data of Japan oscillated throughout the given period, having a maximum growth and fall at 2 percent.
The last two years were crucial for Italians, who faced a dip at roughly 2 percent. According to other European countries, Germany and France had a constant rise of wages with some periods when the data remained unchanged. Canada was the country, where was the most growths in salaries each year up to four percent, even though in 2002 there was a slight tumble at minus 1%.
