It can be seen that, most men between 20 and 40 worked in full-time job when only about 5% of males selected part-time positions at these ages in Australia in 1993.
However, there was a slight decrease in the rate of full-time males, majority of men worked in full-time jobs after 20 years. In 1993, the percentage of women who were 20 years old reached a peak ( about 54%) and fluctuation was seen between 25-60 years old women in full-time job between 1973 and 1993.
After two decades, the proportion of part-time male workers increased twice and 25% of adults worked in part-time positions in Australia in 1993. In addition, most men whose ages were between 25-60 almost did not worked in part-time jobs in the given period.To compar, vast of women preferred to work in part-time job.
