The pie charts illustrate, information about the spending habitual changes of people in UK over 30 years (from 1971 to 2001)
Overall, both figures show significant changes in their habits. Majority of the people (44%) likes to eat food in 1971 whereas it declined to a mere 14 % by 2001. Likewise, only 22% people interested in car during 1971 which increased to 43% at the end of the given period. Moreover, people spending time with books were replaced by computers between 1971 and 2001 ( from 6% to 1% and 2% to 12% respectively).
With regards to the restaurants, 14% people represent these habits in 2001, which was only 7% in the beginning of 1971. Furthermore, petrol accounted for about 10% in 1971, which decreased to 8% by 2001.
In terms of furniture, there were not many changes over the given period, only one percentage of people changed their habits from previous years.
