The diagram demonstrates the way in which the chocolate is manufactured from cacao seeds with the use of some essentials including the beans crusher, the oven, and the grinder.

As shown in the picture, there are ten main phases in the process, commencing with growing the seeds of the cacao trees and culminating with pressing material produced.

At the first stage of the production, the cacao trees are grown mainly in South America, Africa, and Indonesia, then, when the beans are ripe, identifiable when they turn red, they are harvested. Upon being harvested, those pods are split to take the white cacao beans inside for the next step. At the following stage, the cacao beans are fermented, and then they are spread under prolonged exposure to the sun to dry.

After fermenting and dehydrating, the process continues when those seeds are packed into large sacks, taken by train or lorry, and transported to the factory. In the factory, beans being roasted at 350 degrees, after which, those beans are sent to a grinder to be crushed and separated from their outer shell. In the final stage, the inner part goes through a press and the liquid chocolate is made as a result of this pressing phase.
