Increasing the price of petrol is the best way to solve growing traffic and pollution problems.

To curb growing traffic and pollution problems, a handful of people believe that the price of petrol should be increased. Nonetheless, I do not think that it is a good idea. Instead, another solution like utilizing friendly resources seems to be more possible.
At the outset, rising the petrol price not only can not tackle the traffic and pollution issues but it also arises more complicated problems. Specifically, due to the increase in oil price, the price of all goods such as food, fruits and so on will go up. As a result, the demand for buying things of costumers will decrease, which has bad effect on the national economy.
Therefore, I suggest taking advantage of sustainable energy like solar power, wind power to solve the problems. Obviously, if the government and corporations focus on using solar energy for public transportation such as trams, buses, and so on, the number of citizens travelling will go up. Moreover, utilizing these energy sources will minimize the amount of CO2 and CFC in the air, make the air fresher.
To sum up, I do not think that increasing the petrol price will be the best way to solve traffic and pollution problems. People should consider using friendly energy,instead.
