The bar chart : Australia’s share of Japan’s tourist market
The figures elucidate the number of Japanese holidaymakers who travelled overseas and the amount of Australia share to Japan’s visitor market from 85 to 95. At first glance, it is evident that in the bar chart, the total of the tourists who come from Japan experienced a dramatic growth over the entire period, and in line graph, it experienced a sharp decline for two times.
To begin with the bar chart, there was immense progress for the number of Japanese holidaymakers to travel abroad in which it stood at just above 4 millions in 85 and achieved at well over 10 millions in 90. Over the following year, it decreased sharply less than the previous year, and erratically, it jumped, soaring to well across 14 millions by the end of the period shown.
In accordance with the line graph, 85 to 89 witnessed an immense increase for the share of Australia for Japan’s visitor market in which it finished approximately at well above 4 in 100 in 89. Unfortunately, it plunged for two times in the next 6 years and ended at six-hundredths in 95.
