Presented is a line graph illustrating the oscillation of steel production and consumption, as well as the number of employees in a particular country over a year. Overall, it is evident that the amount of steel produced and the number of workers employed both experienced downward trend, whilst the amount of steel demanded, which was lower than the produced one almost throughout the period, fluctuated around a certain point.

In regard to production and consumption, 4000 million tonnes of steel were supplied in January, which was twofold the actual demand. At the end of the first quarter, the amount of steel demanded exhibited a strong upward trend to 3000 million tonnes, while that of the production still stood at 4000 after reaching its own climax in February (5000). From April to July, steel production remained its stability at around 4000 million tonnes, whereas the figure of demand for this material hovered between 2000 and 3000 million tonnes. During the last quarter of the year, both steel production and consumption witnessed a downward trend in the amoun of steel, with the sharp drop to approximately 800 million tonnes of the former, and a concave decline to the bottom of the later in November, before making a quick recovery and bouncing back to the initial point.

Turning to the number of employees in this country, commencing at 5000 thousand workers in terms of absolute data, the quantity then peaked at over 5500 thousand in the following month. After experiencing a plunge to 3000 thousand people, its data leveled out and oscillated around the same amount until the end of August. Throughout the end of the period, there was a substantial concave downward trend to merely 1000 thousand workers.
