The line graph compares the percentage of British people going to the cinema in term of age from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, it can be observed that there was an upward trend among four aged groups and the percentage of people aged 44-54 went to cinema was significantly higher than other three groups over the 20-period years.
Having started at 36% in 1990, the proportion of cinema attendance aging 34-44 and 44-54 saw a slightly increase before dropped to approximately 31% and 36% in 2000. In the subsequent 10 years, these figures had reached a peak at 43% for the aged 34-44 and over 50% for the oldest group.
The figure of people aging 24-34 fluctuated between 22% and nearly 30% during the period 10 years before climbed to a peak of 32% in 2005 and remain stabled in the following 5 years. Finally, despite of the tiny declined in the year 2000, the proportion of youngest cinema attendances group then reached a peak of over a quarter at the end of period.
