The line graph below shows radio and television audiences throughout the day in 1992
The given line graph depicts the proportion of British people with age over 4, who watched television and listened to the radio in the period of October to December 1992.
Overall, the majority of people listened to the radio in the morning, while TV audiences mostly spend their time in the evening. The number of people who watched TV throughout the day exceeded those of radio listeners.
In the early morning, radio listeners was constantly accounted for below 5% until 6 am. It then showed a dramatic climb to 25% in 8 am. Following that, the percentage dropped gradually throughout the evening, reaching back to about 5% in the end of the day (12 am).
As for the TV, there was also just above 5% audiences in 1 am. From 2 am to 10 am, the number remained consistent under 5%. It then slightly increased before going back down to below 5% in am. By the afternoon, the proportion showed a significant rise, reaching a peak of 45% in 9 pm. The number then plummeted to more or less 15% b the midnight.
