The line graph shows the global demand of different textile from 1980-2015.
The line graph compares and contrasts statistical data on the changes of four textile fibres which are wool, polyester, cotton and cellulose over the thirty-six-year period from 1980 to 2015.
A closer look at the diagram highlights that polyester and cotton were two of the most preferential fibres over the world. In contrast, wool and cellulose had a tendency of diminishing over the same period of time.
To begin with, polyester was well-known with global citizens since 1980 and continued to rise to the highest used-fibres in 2015. Besides that, with the higher start than polyester at 10, cotton increased rapidly but fluctuated near 2015 and finally led the second ranking under polyester.
In addition, wool and cellulose were likely to climb. Nevertheless, they were drop slightly when reached 2015. More specifically, cellulose fell under 10 - the initial demand in 1980 while wool still at the position that above the beginning.
