A glance at the two maps given is an illustration regarding the transformation of Pentland between two different years 1980 - 2007.
What stands out from the chart, there were radical changes encompassing a dramatic increase in residential areas, amenities, and the erection of infrastructure.
In more detail, in the north, the sea was converted into the yacht marina alongside the emergence of the new road. In addition, more apartments have been built in the northeast. Besides, a car park situated in the east in 1980 was relocated and reconstructed to a multi-story car park to the west in 2007 and replaced with an industrial area. Then, a new park, and swimming pool were erected near that.
Another prominent feature of Pentland in 2007, there was major shops opened along the path in many ways. In the east-south, more branch roads were erected and two arrays of houses were built facingly with each other. Moreover, the cinema was established opposite the suburb.
