The maps illustrate the main changes which have taken place in a village called Meadowside and a town called Fonton, an adjoining city, at three periods of time 1962, 1985, and the present.
Overall, both regions are experiencing significant growth and development, and by the end of the eighties, both of Meandowside and Fonton interfere with each other.
In 1962, Meadowside and Fonton were two places apart with no connection or connectivity between them. While Fonton had a train tracks that running through the city, Meadowside was having a road running through the village. After more than twenty years, a route has been constructed to link between the two cities; the government erected a road from Meadowside to Fonton. In addition to, a new housing estate was constructed and leisure complex were completely renovated. Also a super store had been added.
Presently, the two areas interfered with each other to become one and large town. A business park has been established in front of the road. There is also a new train track added to the railway. And finally, a hotel was opened opposite the railway station.
