The maps describe the current plan of Islip town center and its’ improved version.
Overall, the biggest change in the sketch is the road which is surround the town center. However, enterance and exit ways to the town is remaining the same.
To begin with the south of the town, school, park and housing area will not change but there will be a road which is separate the school and housing from other housing, park and the new houses. Shops which are located on the center of the plan will constant while the main road will changes to “Pedestrians only”.
To continue with the north of the center, it can be seen that many new places will be built in the planned map. Shops in the north of the main road will not be occured in the new one and instead of shops, there are plenty of different stores such as bus station, shopping center, car park and new housing. Additionally, dual carriageway will be planned to do in the west of the town.
