The map displayed the transformation of Frenton in 22 years (1990-2012).
Overall Frenton has significantly improved over the years. There are obvious increased of residential areas, few building had been changed whereas some upgraded respectively (hospital, hotel, cinema, and supermarket).
In 1990, west part of Frenton has a school which is just beside the bank and opposite that is a hospital near the play ground and library. The northwest is the remote side of high street where you can see a vast tree area. Moreover on the east part of Frenton is where you can find leisure part. Shops, theatre, cafe and park are closely situated beside the residential area.
As we can see in the map, that over the period of time Frenton had reshaped some of areas and buildings around its High street. First was the bank which became a restaurant after several years. Next was the hospital that had been substantially renovated together with the upgrades of supermarket, hotel and golf course. Technopark was built and as a result of that there are significant increase of housing facilities around Frenton during those period. And laslty, the area where trees are seemingly present had disappread.
