The pictures describe the development that occurred in Youngsville in New Zealand from 1980 to 2005. Overall, this city experienced a number of dramatic changes, the most significant of which was the complete disappearance of woodland and houses. Additionally, there were the stadium construction and the railway station's expansion.
In the North of River Alanah, while the hospital has remained, a new park was constructed at the expense of the green area. There was a stadium to the West of the lake where had been a vacant space in 1980. The railway station was extended to the North after the demolition of the residential area and there is a Marina was built near the rail bridge.
In the South of the river, the school near the river bank were retained after 25 years but the trees and houses were completely cleared to make the way for factories and warehouse. In the South West corner of Youngsville, the airport and parking facility still exist. The woodland around them, however, was cut down for industrial purposes. Moreover, in 2005, skyscrapers were established where there had been only small houses and trees.
