The maps below show the changes in a town after a construction of a hydroelectric power dam.
The given maps sketch out how a town has changed with a hydroelectric power dam constructed.
As shown in the illustration, the area was divided into two region by the river with mountains at every angle in 1990. The stucture was the same in 2010, but there existed a construction of a new fishing lake at the beginning of the river.
Having a closer look at the details, it is explixitly observed that in 1990, the west area to the river was wild with forest and ancient stucture to the northwest, rare plants and animals to the middle weast while in the east area, there were a village and irrigated farmlands. Those things however disappeared in 2010, giving place to many other constructions except for the villages.
It is interesting to note that the structure was a complete difference from that of 1990. To build a new lake, the river flow was interupted by mountain. Along the two sides of the river, lots of electricity poles appeared mainly in the west side while in the east there are villages other than the poles. A huge hotel was also constructed by the fishing lake for commercial purposes.
