Overal, as can be seen in the map, it is clearly evident that there were a range of shifts in the arrangement in this book store such as the relocation of non - fiction shelf or the shrinkage of the fiction area.
According to the map, in 2000, the arrangement in the given bookshop was still quite simple. When customers had passed the doors, they could immediately see the travel books shelf in front of their eyes, and next to it was the area for books which was new arrival. To the right-hand corner situated a service desk, while there were 2 fiction shelf in the book store with one was along the left - hand wall and another was in the back of the shop. Three shelves of cookery, hobbies and art books was between the latter fiction shelf and travel books area respectively. To the south of these shelves was a non-fiction area located.
Looking closely to the bookstore now, actually it is notable that interior is similar to its in 2000 for the most part, with several deviations. Not only the space in the left-hand wall is now divided into four shelves for art, hobbies, cookery books along with fiction respectively, giving space in the middle of the store for three tables and chairs, but also the fiction area in the back of the room is converted into non-fiction shelf. The space to the south of these tables and chairs is now turned into cafe area.
