he picture illustrates the development of Langley town within a forty-year period from between 1910 and 1950.

Overall, on the North of Sherman street the factory and wasteland was replaced by Sherman Mansions while on the South Park was developed. Moreover, Flats were constructed in place of Townhouses next to Jordan Street.

In 1910, Townhouses was there for citizens, on the right and left-hand side of the Jordan Street. Whereas, to the North of Sherman Street, Factory was there and on the East of it there were Wasteland, Store and Laundry. Moreover, on the Southern side of Sherman Street there were wasteland and Cottages for Railway workers.

However, there was significant development in 1950. In the West of Jordan Street, Flats had been developed after demolishing Townhouses. In addition, In the North of Sherman Street, Factory had been replaced by Sherman Mansions whereas Laundry had been shifted towards North where there was wasteland and Café was opened on that place. Albeit, Store was completely removed. Furthermore, To the South of Sherman Street, Sherman Park was opened with special play area for children. In addition, new stores were opened on the East of park where there were few cottages in 1910.
