Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two diagrams show a comparison based on images of the town of Langley in the years 1910 and 1950. Overall, the town has gone through a dramatic change in appearance.
We can clearly see the urban development of this town through the period over 40 years. The townhouses which used to dominate the 1910 map had been completely removed by 1950. But instead flats are built to the right of the 1950 map. Furthermore, factory is converted into Sherman Mansions.
The demolition of houses along Sherman Street and the removal Railway worker’s cottage in 1910 made room for a spacious park which includes children’s play area and named Sherman Park. There used to be a railway line ran through the neighborhood but until 1950, it no longer existed. Whereas, a new road which is called New Lane had appeared next to children’s play area by 1950. On the commercial side, three new stores had been constructed along New Lane road. On the other hand, the Laundry and Cafe are also relocated.
