The maps show an art gallery in Australia in 1950 and now.

The maps depict modifications to an unspecified art gallery from 1950 to the present day. Overall, the art gallery underwent a complete transformation with various facilities relocated, replaced or added.
Most notably, the inner space of the gallery is considerably enhanced by converting the outdoor courtyard into indoor facilities to serve the various needs of visitors. Between 1950 and the present day, the sculpture was further expanded to the north side of the building, taking up a third of the space where there once was a courtyard. That expanded area was replaced with an Australian Aboriginal Art room while the Children Art School was built on its left side and the Australian Art room was relocated and sited on its right side. Following the renovation, this area lies at the center of the gallery and serves as a gateway to other sections of the complex.
In the west of the building, it offers other value-added services and another major change to the area was the additional toilet. The size of the café has been reduced in half to make way for a toilet. The temporary exhibition and the bookshop retained their spots in the bottom left corner of the building.
