THE NUMBER OF CARS MADE IN THREE COUNTRIES IN 2003, 2006, 2009
The table gives information about automobile production in Argentina, Australia and Thailand over a period of 7 years.
It is clear that of the three countries,Thailand is the largest car manufacturer and also experienced the fastest growth. While car production rates in Thailand and Argentina increased over the period shown, there was a fall in the numbers of cars made in Australia.
As is presented in the diagram, in 2003, car industry in Thailand produced 735,852 total cars while the figure for Australia stood at just half that amount. Only about 235,000 cars were made in Argentina at the same time. By 2006, Thailand car production increased significantly and reached a peak at 1,162,356. That also the highest figure in the chart.
After 2006, the rate for Thailand remained the highest despite falling gradually to nearly 1,000,000. While the number of cars manufactured in Australia fell sequentially to just under 250,000, a drop of 200,000 cars, that of Argentina experience an upward trend.
