Essay topics:

The number of French adults who parents spoke a regional language of French to them when they were children, and the number who speak a French regional language to their own children

A glance at the bar graphs reveal the total of French adults who parents spoke a regional language of French to them when they were children, and the total who speak a French regional language to their own children. Overall, the number of adults speaking a regional language to their own children is determined by their spoken habitually rather than spoken occasionally at their childhood. Furthermore, Alsatian and Occitan are more popular than other languages in terms of speaking usage.

Alsatian language is spoken to the children by 400 parents by far the highest proportion and the figure for parents speaking such a language in habitually and occasionally in their childhoods were 600 and 200 respectively. The number of adults speaking Occitan as their habits had the same proportion as that Alsatian while the number for ones speaking Breton was 250 adults.

However, 1000 adults spoke Occitan and 400 adults spoke Breton occasionally in their childhood were higher than those Alsatian so that it could affect the proportion of them to spoke to their children which were between 100 and 300 adults. The other categories, Creole and Corsican are rarely spoken to the children, just under 100 people because they did not frequently speak such languages as much as current usage.
