Pebbleton Village 20 years ago vs now
The diagrams illustrate the growth of Pebbleton village from 20 years ago until now. The most noticeable developments are the appearance of more accommodation as well as several community construction for the residents of the village.
As shown in the map, the film studio located in the southwest corner of the main island has been replaced by an apartment building. Furthermore, a number of houses were built in addition to the existing ones along the northern coast. Looking at the maps in more detail, we can see that a lighthouse has situated in the northwest area of the village for over 20 years; the old forts once lied next to it has been demolished to make way for a children’s playground.
At present, there is a community center added to the site between the playground and the residential area. To the south, tennis courts have been erected at the northwest cornerof the Lighthouse Lane intersection with Old Fort Road. Aside from the existed Roadbridge, the new Footbridge has been developed to link the southern island to the main island of the village. This development is a footpath that connects the school on the smaller island to the recent tennis courts. Finally, no change has been made to the playing field lying to the south of Old Fort Road.
