The diagram shows the process of collecting information by Australian Bureu of Meteorology so that they can broadcast a true forecasts.
Received data can be from three different sources: satellites, radars and drifting bouys. The results come from these can be categorized as photos, screens and charts. Satellite photos are providing the information from satellites. Radar screens also are used for experimenting with radars data. All information from the sources can be simulated in a synoptic chart by which we can forecast the weather. The next step is preparing the broadcast and at last the weather news eventually will be spread by tv newsreaders, radios and also recorded announcements.
In summary, there are four major level from receiving the data, analyzing them, prepare them for broadcast to being on air. This technology can provide us with the online information so that the forecasts are reliable and more likely to happen.
