The pie chart shows a comparision of different kinds of energy production in France in 1995 and 2005
The given pie charts illustrate the comparison in 5 different types of energy production of France, over the course 10 years starting in 1995.
Looking at these pictures, it is clearly evident that an amount of coal, nuclear and gas energy witnessed an upward trend with the exception of an mount of petro fuel. The coal production registered the highest number in both 2 pie charts.
In term of coal production, there was a slight change from 29,8% to 30,93% between 1995 and 2005. A similar trend was witnessed in the amount of gas figure at 30,31% in 2005 which was higher than its production in 1995, accounted for 19,63%.
The most noticeable shift was the drop of petro energy, it stood at 29,27% in 1995 and then this figure declined dramatically to 19,55% in 2005. However, an amount of nuclear in 2005 was higher than around 4 percent , compared to 1995.
