The pie charts illustrate the differences and changes in the proportions of coffee productions from different areas and the profits in 2014. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that South America was the dominant producer and Europeans consumed the highest amount of coffee. Additionally, the profit from retailing was the highest percentage.
In particular, when it comes to the sources of coffee production, the percentage of South America was at nearly a half, which was the highest score, followed by Southeast Asia with 20%. Besides, the third largest proportion was 15%, which was represented by Oceania. It was accompanied by Africa and other producers at 10% and 9% respectively.
In terms of the consumption of coffee, the first and second top positions were Europe and America with 44% and 25% correspondingly, followed by other countries with just over 10%. Oceania and Asia shared the equal amount of coffee at 10%, which accounted for the lowest proportions.
Regarding the profits of coffee production, Retailing dominated all the patterns of profits with around 30%. The second and the third percentages were 27% and 25%, which was represented by Producing process and Importing accordingly. The least profit earners could be seen in Shipping with 15%, which was just a half in comparison with Retailing.
