The presented pie charts compare the average household budget in different coutries, namely Japan and Malaysia in 2010 by percentage.
It can be seen clearly that the proportion of transport, housing and other goods and services are major.
As we can see, the most money used to pay out other goods and services in Japan, at 29%; whereas that of in Malaysia is 26%. The highest percentage in Malaysia belong to housing, at 34%, more than 13% in Japan. In comparison with Malaysia, the amount of money used for food in Japan is 24%, less than 3%.
In addition, the average household fund for transport in Japan is 20%, twice as high as that of in Malaysia. This difference is repeated in health care. While this figure is 6% in Japan, the expenditure which Malaysians paid out for it make up just 3%. Both of whom are the lowest percent.
