In Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia, similar trends of water usage can be seen. Here people use over 80% of the water for agricultural needs. In South America, water is mostly needed for agricultural purposes just like the three regions stated above but in this region, people use water in the domestic sector the most among all of the six places.
In Europe and North America, roughly 50% of water is being used in the industrial sector and the other dominant portion of the water is being used in agriculture( 39% in North America and 32% in Europe).
