The plan below show a school in 1985 and the school now. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The two maps illustrate how the school campus changed from 1985 until now.
Overall, it is obvious that the population of school experienced a considerable change and school has alterations to accommodate the larger number of students. Further changes have also been made to school's access and parking facilities.
In 1985, the school had an enrollment of 1,500 students. In the west of the campus, there were a wide range of amenities such as an office, a car park, classrooms, and a big library while the east side stood a block of classrooms with two storeys. Most of students accessed the campus through the entrance on the north with a large car park, leading to spacious playing fields in the south.
At present, the number of students attending to school increase significantly to 2,300. While an office remains stable, extended classrooms are relocated to the south. In addition, library is replaced to make way for many facilities including learning resources centre and computer rooms. In the south of the map, there are lots of entertainment places for students such as pool or gymnastic centre, overtaking an half of playing fields. Moreover, car park at the top have reduced in size, and the rectangular one has been shaped into the semicircle. Finally, classrooms block has been installed with three storeys and more trees are planted, replacing the road to the campus.
