The plans below how a public park when it was first in 1920 and the same park today
The plans illustrate the layout of the Grange Park back when it was first opened (1920) and the present. It represents how much the park has developed over the years.
Overall, the seating is which was in the west side of the park has shifted to the center area around the Rose Garden, which previously used to be located on either side of the stage for musicians. Many new significant infrastructural changes can also be seen.
In 1920, the fountain is in the middle of the park, to the west of which is present the musicians’ stage and seats. To the east of the fountain, there is a small pond for all the water plants. There are two entrances and to the right of which a glasshouse and another rose garden is situated.
Over the few years, the park’s framework has developed considerably. In the present, the stage in 1920, has been converted to an Amphitheatre for the concerts. The rose garden is moved to the center of the park and seats are arranged around it so that the audience can view the concerts.
The current unique features that have been added are, the café, that is built to right of Arnold Avenue entrance, next to which a children’s play area is located. Another new attribute that has been launched is the underground car park, it is situated right below the latest water feature.
