The pictures illustrate a number of important changes which took place in an amusement park, namely Grange Park.
From the maps, it is clear that the most noticeable change that occurred in the park are the Amphitheatre for concerts, Rose garden. In addition, the grass house near the entrance was converted into a water feature.
As of 1920, there was a stage for musicians between rose gardens; now it is replaced by the Amphitheatre for concerts and contains a large area of the amphitheater, eliminating the rose garden underneath. The fountain in 1920 was replaced by a rose garden today. On top of that, in 1920, next to the fountain there was only empty land. However, a water feature has been established today.
Looking at the maps in more details, while in 1920 there was a rose garden in between the entrance and ponds for watering plants, now it has been transformed into a coffee shop and children's play area.
